After the success of Boogaloo Stomp and Soulfood on Goodgroove Da Wiesel return with another huge floorfiller. On the debut of Frequento´s new label Sunsetsoul Da Wiesel drops out the Shotgun EP. Starting with a killer rework of Jr. Walker´s classic Shotgun which will rock the dancefloor massive. On the flip Da Wiesel comes with a big mid tempo mash-up Cool Hot Grits. The track combines three generations of funk and hip hop Rufus Thomas, Kurtis Blow and Roots Manuva. The result is a floor bomb which will be loved by hip hop friends.
The last track Downtown Breakdown is an uptempo funk hymn which comes with chorus, funky guitars and heavy breaks. Da Wiesel´s Shotgun is a absolute must for every record bag!

Support from Jally Jazz, Jon Kennedy, Valique, Smoove, Quincy Jointz/Geriba.
